i can't believe i sat still long enough to do this...let alone color it.
i drew it while waiting to get a drink with someone. obviously, i got stood up...i was there for a while (it was colored later).

Since I'm in the process of creating alot of new work, and most of it isn't fit to post yet...I've decided to do a small retrospective of a few of my favorite pieces from the last year or so. just so i can get some stuff up on here....

the first in a series of semi-fictional portraits of trans men.
pencil, pen, and prismacolor markers

i mentioned to someone in a lecture class that i like to make my self-portraits as strange as i can. she asked me to draw one, and this is what came out, i think iwas acting out alot at the time. aheh.
ballpoint pen.

the first in a series of "tattoo portraits", which later became a painted series...and didnt do so well. Lets just say the drawings are much better.
pencil, pen, and prismacolors.

this was a design for a wood-block print that i did. the print turned out fairly well, but of course isn't as crisp as this drawing.
pencil and sharpie markers.

pretty self-explanitory.
ballpoint pen.

one of a few lino-cut prints i did, sorry about the water-mark; I have it for sale currently.
Linoleum relief print, speedball relief ink.

this is my new, second live journal- created for the sole purpose of posting my artwork (finished and in progress) to get feedback and to share in general.

Hopefully in the next few days I'll start putting up artwork.
